We're looking for a Vice President of Engineering to lead our engineering organization and drive technical execution across all delivery streams. As VP of Engineering, you'll oversee multiple development teams, ensure alignment with organizational priorities, and create an environment where engineers thrive and deliver exceptional results.
This is a strategic leadership role focused on:
- Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Support, Operations, and Customer Success
- Team performance and growth - building high-performing teams

- Organizational alignment - ensuring engineering priorities serve business goals
- Operational excellence - visibility into team activity and delivery health
You'll work closely with executive leadership to shape technical strategy while staying deeply connected to the pulse of engineering teams and their day-to-day execution.
Team Leadership & Development
- Oversee all engineering delivery lines and development teams (15+ engineers)
- Build and mentor a strong leadership team (Development Leads, Engineering Managers)
- Create a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Develop career paths and growth opportunities for engineers at all levels
- Recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent
- Drive a rigorous practice of thorough documentation and knowledge sharing and code reviews.
- Act as an ‘internal ambassador’ for the engineering team to other groups, communicating the opportunities and constraints technology offers to the development of our internal projects.
- Resolve escalations arising from internal teams and manage client expectations alongside various teams to minimize production incidents and operations
- Manage technical debt to ensure our development velocity stays responsive and predictable
- Align teams to broader company objectives and client expectations improvements on efficiency
Requirements:
- 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in engineering leadership
- Led engineering teams of 20+ engineers across multiple teams
- Built and scaled engineering organizations through growth phases
- Hired, developed, and retained high-performing engineering teams
- Experience managing managers and technical leads
- Track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and with quality
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or similar degree.
Technical Background
- Strong technical foundation - can speak credibly with engineers and customers
- Background in backend/distributed systems (C#/.NET experience is a plus)
- Understanding of modern software architecture - microservices, cloud, DevOps
- Familiarity with **high-throughput, low-latency systems**
- Can evaluate technical tradeoffs and guide architectural decisions
- Stay current with technology trends and industry best practices
Preferred skills & knowledge:
- Thought leader or community involvement in the blockchain/fin-tech/cryptocurrency space
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Enjoys mentoring and developing a mid-large team of engineers
- Passionate about organization and leadership strength and capability
- Active contributor to the crypto/blockchain community
