Job Summary:
We are seeking a Vendor Contracts Manager to administer the full lifecycle of third-party agreements. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the timely negotiation, execution, and adherence of all contracts to both company policies and legal mandates. Reporting to the Director of Risk Management, this position requires interdepartmental collaboration to mitigate risk, enhance vendor partnerships, and contribute to strategic procurement initiatives.The role will work closely with the TPRM manager to ensure contracts align with risk assessments and vendor segmentation strategies. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to vendor governance.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, assist in negotiating, and manage contracts including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, SaaS agreements, and service contracts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, and IT teams to ensure all contracts meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure alignment with risk assessments and vendor segmentation strategies which include defining SLAs, data privacy terms, and indemnities, as well robust clauses to mitigate key risks—such as data breaches, regulatory non-compliance, or business continuity failures
- Escalate risk-relevant issues arising from vendor performance
- Maintain and manage the contract repository, ensuring timely renewals, amendments, and termination tracking.
- Monitor vendor performance metrics and contractual obligations, escalating issues as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement in contract management processes, templates, and approval workflows.
- Provide contract training and guidance to internal stakeholders to support consistent understanding and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or vendor risk management.
- Proven experience negotiating and managing commercial contracts.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, risk mitigation strategies, and third-party governance.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, technology).
- Familiarity with frameworks such as CCPA, GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, among others.
- Certification as a CPCM (Certified Professional Contract Manager) is a plus.
- Experience with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) systems.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending upon your leveling and location, the compensation for this role averages between $100,000 - $130,000 USD base salary. Equity, an annual performance bonus and the benefits outlined below are also a part of this role's package.
