You will lead a tight-knit team in a fast-paced environment, balancing product innovation with the practicalities of limited resources and rapid execution.</span></div> <div><br></div> <div><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></div> <div><br></div> <ul> <li><span>Drive our product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with Bluesky's mission and business goals</span></li> <li><span>Prioritize and plan product initiatives based on user needs, market trends, and business impact</span></li> <li><span>Oversee the full product lifecycle from ideation to launch</span></li> <li><span>Gather qualitative and quantitative data to identify user pain points and opportunities for growth</span></li> <li><span>Define and track key metrics, leading iterative cycles to continuously improve user experience and engagement</span></li> <li><span>Collaborate closely with engineering, design, community, and external parties </span></li> <li><span>Collaborate closely with the leadership team to align product roadmap with company vision and priorities</span></li> <li><span>Balance innovation with platform stability, protocol compatibility, and scalability needs</span></li> <li><span>Mentor and develop team members, building a high-performing product team</span></li> </ul> <div><br></div> <div><strong>Requirements:</strong></div> <div><br></div> <ul> <li><span>Minimum of 3 years of experience in a role leading product in consumer social or community platforms, minimum 8 years of industry experience </span></li> <li><span>Previous engineering experience </span></li> <li><span>Experience working on a small, scrappy team with limited resources</span></li> <li><span>A solid understanding of design principles, technical capabilities, and constraints</span></li> <li><span>Ability to prioritize and sequence work based on user impact and engineering complexity</span></li> <li><span>Demonstrated success in aligning product roadmaps with growth objectives</span></li> <li><span>Excellent communication &amp; collaboration skills</span></li> <li><span>Data &amp; results driven approach to problem-solving</span></li> <li><span>Experience with rapid prototyping, testing, and iterative development</span></li> <li><span>Enthusiasm about social technologies and a curiosity about emerging trends in consumer social </span></li> </ul> <div><br></div> <div><br></div> <div><span>We’re a fully remote team, but an overlap of working hours with PST is required.
