What you'll be responsible for

Circle is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Marketing Manager with a background in consulting and strong understanding of the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry to join our team.

This person will play a critical role in developing a competitive intelligence function within the product marketing team. This role is pivotal in driving our product marketing strategy by developing deep competitive insights that will shape market positioning and messaging of Circle’s products and solutions for enterprises across industry verticals including banking, fintechs, exchanges, payments and Web3. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams including product, sales, marketing and communications.

What you'll do:

  • Conduct detailed customer research to understand the needs, preferences, and behaviors of different market segments. Use this data to tailor messaging and marketing strategies to resonate with targeted audiences.
  • Play a lead role in developing the competitive intelligence function within the product marketing team, ensuring a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitor strategies, and emerging trends in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry.
  • Collaborate with product, sales and marketing teams to communicate competitive intelligence insights and recommendations that influence product strategy and marketing campaigns.
  • Design and maintain a comprehensive competitive landscape repository and provide actionable intelligence to senior stakeholders.
  • Facilitate training and development sessions for the sales and marketing teams on competitive positioning and market trends.
  • Engage with industry analysts and conduct primary research to validate competitive product assumptions and understand customer needs and perceptions.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor marketing activities, product developments, and customer engagement strategies to proactively adjust our market strategies.
  • Be the go-to resource for competitive intelligence.

What you'll bring to Circle:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience including B2B product marketing or competitive intelligence; some background in management consulting is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, prioritize tasks, communicate effectively and deliver value with a self-driven approach to day-to-day responsibilities
  • Strong analytical mindset and exceptional problem solving skills
  • Capacity to break down complex concepts so that they’re simple and clear
  • Strong relationship building capabilities and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience working in crypto/web3 or payments industry preferred
  • Passionate about finding new ways to market products and solutions in a dynamic and constantly evolving industry without a defined playbook to follow

Starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note that compensation ranges may differ for candidates in other locations.

Base Pay Range: $175,000 - $225,000

Annual Bonus Target: 17.5%

Also Included: Equity & Benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)). Circle has a discretionary vacation policy. We also provide 10 days of paid sick leave per year and 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
