Our Global Sourcing Team is looking for an exceptional Sourcer to join us in Kraken’s meaningful mission of increasing crypto adoption. We’re seeking a Sourcer who is motivated, curious and inquisitive. You will be empowered to produce pipelines for many of our critical roles across different departments, in a very fast-paced, data-driven environment. You will advocate our employer brand and build pipelines of exceptional talent to help us reach our business objectives. We're a globally distributed team who are trailblazing new standards whilst hiring the greatest talent on earth.
Main differentiators between this role and any other Sourcer role on the market:
Managing uncertainty: Kraken is at the forefront of the innovation spectrum. As such, you can expect to tackle roles that you have never heard about, with no prior experience, data or track record
Pace: Crypto never sleeps! You will be expected to flex your sourcing skills across Tech, Non-tech and anything in between with a very quick turnaround
Builder mentality: We are not looking for a plain executioner but someone that will contribute to building something new, awesome and cutting edge
Team work: Our sourcing team’s track record is unprecedented - we provide velocity and quality to our pipelines through hard work, but always working as a team. We have no room for solo players or internal competition
Crypto Culture and remote work: This role is and will always be fully remote. You will be sourcing the next talent for Kraken and as such it is required that you understand Fintech/crypto and that you are aligned with our globally inclusive culture.
Skills you should HODL
Partner with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to design and execute effective hiring strategies
Gather, organize and communicate competitive market intelligence, identifying where target talent exists and sharing industry trends
Collaborate with the broader sourcing team in leveraging best practices across research techniques, boolean searches, tools, networking and other sourcing methods
Create and communicate compelling messaging that highlights the exciting challenges and incredible culture at Kraken
Independently develop and maintain candidate flow across a variety of disciplines, leveraging data to drive decision making and process improvement
Source candidates through a variety of search resources (social media, internal database, job boards, networking, internet searches, etc.)
Be an ambassador to Kraken, sharing our values and drive brand awareness in the market
Participate in research projects and other initiatives which improve the infrastructure of hiring
A few years of sourcing experience from a fast-growing technology or product-driven business. Excellence is not measured in years of experience but we are looking for someone with strong sourcing craft.
Ability to produce compelling market intelligence based on business and industry knowledge - Fintech/crypto understanding required.
Proven experience with identifying and engaging hard-to-find candidates against ruthless competition
Ability to translate hiring needs into accurate sourcing strategies; strong expertise in boolean/X-ray sourcing
Creative with the ability to think outside the box to uncover hidden talent
Influential written and verbal communication, including the ability to craft, test and iterate on outreach/engagement strategy to improve response rates
Organized, operationally astute and data-oriented
Passion or growing intrigue for cryptocurrency adoption and personal experience with crypto
