About Paxos

Paxos is on a mission to enable the movement of any asset, any time, in a trustworthy way. Today’s financial infrastructure is archaic, expensive, inefficient and risky - supporting a system that leaves out more people than it lets in. So we’re rebuilding it.

As a regulated blockchain infrastructure company, we use technology to tokenize, custody, trade, and settle assets for enterprise clients like PayPal, Bank of America, and Interactive Brokers. Paxos is a top-funded blockchain company, with more than $500 million in total funding from leading investors like OakHC/FT, Founders Fund, PayPal Ventures, and Declaration Partners. Together, we empower today’s financial leaders to build a more open, trusted economy.

As a Quality Control Program Manager, you’ll get to:

  • Manage and conduct the ongoing quality review process for the full suite of Compliance processes focussing on regulatory reporting (SARs/STRs)

  • Conduct periodic training session for material procedural changes, ensuring alignment with operation teams

  • Identify operating procedure gaps/risks, develop remediation plans, and collaborate with partners to assist with remediating the issues

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of AML and sanctions regulatory risks, including tracking regulatory developments that may affect annual testing

Your experience should include:

  • 4-5+ years of prior experience in Compliance, and an understanding of BSA / AML, Sanctions, CDD / EDD, and AML Transaction Monitoring.

  • Experience with regulatory reporting (SARs/STRs) as a filer, preparer, or quality reviewer

  • Ability to identify areas of inefficiency and suggest enhancements that can make processes faster and more reliable

  • Technical proficiency with Excel/Sheets: ability to build usable reports and analyze data to identify process issues and inconsistencies

  • Strong analytical skills and can use data to inform your approach and inform your recommendations

  • Strong attention to detail and passion for solving problems

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Excellent partnership and stakeholder management skills

  • While we are not requiring prior work in the fintech, crypto, or blockchain industries, candidates must demonstrate an aptitude for the space and show they can quickly understand our processes.
