About the Role

As Senior Business Development Specialist, you will focus on evaluating, engaging, and closing partnership opportunities to propel RISC Zero’s growth, especially focused on Boundless.

Key Responsibilities

• Partnership Development:

  • Maintain and build a presence in the market via networking, social media and event attendance

  • Participate in the ongoing development of market and partner strategy

  • Identify and secure partner leads

  • Recruit and facilitate the enablement of partners

  • Maintain good standards of administration for deal agreements and CRM systems

• Collaborative Teamwork for Partnership Alignment and Execution:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including founders, engineering, product and growth, to align partnership initiatives with company objectives and to support partnerships.

• In-depth Knowledge of RISC Zero’s zkVM and Boundless:

  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge and proficiency in discussing Boundless and its market positioning.

• Participate in Effective Partnership and Team Communication:

  • Communicate strategically with external partners and internal teams to ensure the cohesion and achievement of key performance indicators.

• Contribute to Market Insight and Trend Analysis:

  • Continuously update knowledge on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging partnership opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

• Blockchain Partnership Expertise:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing, negotiating, and managing partnership agreements in crypto

• Intermediate Knowledge of the ZK Space:

  • Offchain verifiable computation for applications

  • Use of zk to enhance infrastructure

  • Knowledge should be primarily from a business / use case perspective, but with an appreciation of technical concepts

• In-depth Blockchain Industry Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the blockchain ecosystem, encompassing infrastructure and immediate applications, particularly within the layer 2 and DeFi ecosystems.

  • Depth in at least one of Ethereum, Solana or BTC

• Stakeholder Engagement and Strategic Alignment:

  • Demonstrated ability to drive consensus and support from key internal stakeholders for strategic decisions.

• Project Management:

  • Proven experience in managing complex projects with a track record of successful outcomes.

• Effective Communication:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in proposal and documentation writing and public speaking.

• Geography:

  • We prioritize candidates based in major crypto hubs such as New York, San Francisco, Singapore, Berlin, London, etc., though exceptional candidates in other locations will also be considered. However, there will also be a requirement to travel up to 30% of the time.
